Meteorology introduces the key meteorological concepts and phenomena that affect aviation operations. Students will learn to interpret weather observations, reports, and forecasts, including METARs, TAFs, and SIGMETs. The course covers the impact of weather on flight safety and air traffic management, including visibility, cloud types, wind, turbulence, and significant weather events, enabling aviation personnel to make informed decisions and provide effective support to pilots.
